Our vision for the Politics and International Relations Department is to be a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for enriching its students in researching political thought and international relations. Our vision also intends to inspire and empower them to help policy makers, diplomats and government officials.

Program Objectives

Comprehensive Understanding: To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical frameworks, historical contexts, and contemporary issues shaping international relations |

Analytical Skills: To develop students’ analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling them to assess complex political, economic, social, and cultural factors influencing international affairs |

Practical Knowledge: To equip students with practical knowledge and skills necessary for engaging in diplomatic negotiations, policy analysis, conflict resolution, and other real-world applications of international relations theory. |

Interdisciplinary Approach: To adopt an interdisciplinary approach, drawing insights from fields such as political science, economics, sociology, history, and law to enrich students’ understanding of global politics. |
