QEC at Lahore Leads University is responsible to meet the quality and standard of Higher Education of Pakistan by supervising the provided facilities, conducting Internal & External reviews, Surveys, Self-Assessment Process, Institutional Performance Evaluation and other quality assurance activities of academic departments.
Introduction
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Lahore Leads University established in 1st meeting held on 14th July 2011 as per directions of Higher Education Commission and resides at the main campus Kamahan Lidhar Road. QEC at Lahore Leads University is responsible to meet the quality and standard of Higher Education of Pakistan by supervising the provided facilities, conducting Internal & External reviews, Surveys, Self-Assessment Process, Institutional Performance Evaluation and other quality assurance activities of academic departments. Our QEC Staff also engage in national/International levels seminars/conferences relevant to Quality Assurance in Higher Education. At present the QEC involve in improving the quality of education have tended to rely on National and International Educational Policy reforms that build on rich research findings through linking educational inputs to the student’s achievement and it will ultimately impact the score of a university in the Quality Assessment issued by HEC.

Through Quality assurance Lahore Leads University carries out quality management and methods to help make sure certain quality standards are fulfilled. We pay special importance to ensure that Lahore Leads University develops and performs in line with the curriculum and standards defined by HEC. These standards are assessed both internally and externally to ensure that we follow quality assurance guidelines. These assessments can involve school self-evaluation, external evaluation, evaluation of teachers, school leaders and student assessment to make sure they’re reaching their targets.
Lahore Leads University has a definite quality assurance management plan to ensure that it follows the curriculum guidelines, help students flourish and deliver good-quality teaching and learning to keep pace with the market recommendation.

These groups also prepare robust frameworks to cultivate a serene environment conducive to learning, skill building, research, and innovation, while simultaneously strengthening examination and evaluation procedures to guarantee absolute transparency and accountability. This cooperative framework infuses a deep sense of ownership among our colleagues, respects individual differences, and builds true harmony at the inter-departmental level.

- The quality enhancement is to be headed by a Dean reporting directly to Vice Chancellor. He is to be the correspondent with the outside bodies.
- QEC is responsible for promoting public confidence that the quality and standards of the award of degrees are enhanced and safeguard.
- QEC is responsible for the review of academic affiliations with other institutions in terms of effective management of standards and quality programs.
- QEC is responsible for defining clear and explicit standards as points of reference to the reviews to be carried out. It should also help the employees to know as to what they could expect from candidates.
- QEC is responsible to develop qualifications framework by setting out the attributes and abilities that can be expected from the holder of a qualification, i.e. Bachelors with Honors, Master’s, M.Phil., Doctoral.
- QEC is responsible to develop program specifications. These are standards set of information clarifying what knowledge, understanding, skills and other attributes a student will have developed on successfully completing a specific program.
- QEC is responsible to develop quality assurance process and methods of evaluation to affirm that the quality of provision and standards of awards are being maintained and to foster curriculum, subject and staff development, together with research and other scholarly activities.
- QEC is responsible to ensure that the university’s quality assurance procedure is designed to fit in with the arrangements in place nationally for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education
