BS HOSPITALITY TOURISM EVENT MANAGEMENT
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management is a four years undergraduate program designed to prepare graduates for careers in one of the fastest growing global industries. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical learning opportunities, providing students with the expertise to manage hospitality businesses, tourism ventures, and large-scale events. The curriculum combines management studies with specialized courses in hospitality operations, event planning, sustainable tourism, and service excellence. Graduates will be equipped to contribute effectively to Pakistan’s hospitality and tourism industry, as well as the global marketplace.

Rationale & Justification
The hospitality and tourism industry is one of the leading contributors to the global economy. In Pakistan, there is significant potential for growth in tourism, events, and hospitality services, yet a shortage of qualified professionals exists. This program addresses this gap by developing skilled graduates with professional, managerial, and entrepreneurial competencies. The degree aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting economic growth, job creation, sustainable tourism, and cultural exchange.
