Admission procedure

(1) Enrolment / Registration in the Four Year BS/Bachelor (Honors) Degree Program

(i) Intermediate with 12 years of education in any desipline shall be considered for enrolment in Four Years BS/Bachelor (Honors) Degree Program under the semester system.

(ii) Two year Bachelor Degree (Conventional BA/B.Sc./etc) holders shall be considered for enrolment in a Four Year BS/Bachelor (Honors) Degree Program under the semester system and the candidate may get benefit of maximum 50 credits hours for the Two year Bachelor Degree, as may be determined by the Equivalence Committee.

(iii) The candidate, as referred to in Para (ii) above in this clause, shall produce a transcript/detailed marks certificate for consideration by the Equivalence Committee as documentary support in order to achieve benefit that may be granted on course to course basis provided that such a course is appropriate to the scheme of studies of the program to which the candidate is seeking admission.

(iv) The remaining credit hours, out of the prescribed credit hours by the University, shall be completed by the student so enrolled provided that at least 60% of the course work shall be completed in residence (as full time regular student of this University).

(v) The core courses of the Majors shall be completed by the student so enrolled, as prescribed by the University.

(vi) The student so enrolled shall also be required to pass the Bridge Courses as may be prescribed by the University, in order to fill the gap presently exists in the two year BA/B.Sc./etc. (Conventional/Pass Course) program and the four year BS/Bachelors (Honors) program.

(2) Enrolment/Registration in the Graduate/Two Years M.Phli (Conventional) Degree Program:

(i) 16 years Degree (Conventional Masters/BS Honors,etc) holders shall be considered for enrolment in a Two Years M.Phli (Conventional) Degree Program under the semester system subject to fulfillment of other entry requirements.

(ii) The candidate shall produce transcripts/detailed marks certificates for consideration of admission in order to determine the eligibility of a candidate for admission to a program.

(iii) The student so enrolled shall also be required to pass the GAT General/University test as may be prescribed by the University, in order to full fill the eligibllity critrion to enter to a program.

For online admissions, the procedure is quite simple! Here is how to do it:

Step 1: First, visit our website via this link: https://apply.leads.edu.pk/ and you will see this page.

OR  Click on ‘Apply Now’, which you can find on the top left corner. The page shown below will appear. Fill in all the relevant information.

Step2: Next, you will be directed to the main application form where you will fill in your particulars and other information (i.e. your previous education etc.)

Step 3: After the ‘profile’ section of the form has been filled, you will be able to proceed to General Documents and Academics section. Here, you will need to upload pictures of your documents.

Step 4: After uploading all the required documents, just click on Submit Application, and you’re good to go! You’ll see the page pictured below; a form number will be provided to you. You will also be able to download the challan form, and once the dues are paid, your admission will be confirmed.

Let’s go through the process of walk-in admission. It’s really quite simple as well. Here we go:

Step 1: First, you will have to visit the Admission Office at Lahore Leads University.

Step 2: One of our admission officers will guide you through the whole procedure, and all the impertinent information relating to admission will be provided to you.

Step 3: Next, you will have to acquire an admission form and fill it out with your particulars, and other required information such as your previous education and your contact information. We also advise you to bring along copies of your original documents, CNIC or B-Form and passport-sized photographs so that they can be submitted alongside the admission form.

Step 4: Once the form has been filled out, it will be submitted to our admission officer, and they will provide you with a fee challan.

Step 5: Once the fee challan has been paid, your provisional admission at Lahore Leads University will be completed.

TRANSFER OF CREDITS FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS

 

A. At least sixty (60) per cent of the total credits (required for award of an Undergraduate or Graduate degree) shall be earned with Full Residency Status at Lahore Leads University, provided that other requirements for the award of degree are fulfilled.

B. Request for transfer of credit(s) in a course shall not be entertained if the grade is less than C for an undergraduate program, and if the grade is less than B for a graduate program. However, the transferred credits shall only meet the credit hours (of course work) requirement and shall not be included in calculation of the CGPA earned in full residency status at The Lahore Leads University.

C. If there is a course with different title but the curriculum common to a course at Leads University the credit hours may be transferred at the recommendation of the Equivalence Committee of the Lahore Leads University.

D. Subject to provisions of Para A, Para B and Para C above of this Clause 17, the Equivalence Committee, constituted under The LLU Regulation No. 2 of 2012 (promulgated on 19th May 2012 by the Board of Governors), shall consider and decide about the transfer of Credits as prescribed.

E. The transferred / exempted credits, as referred to above, shall only be considered for fulfillment of the program’s credit hours requirement and in no way shall be included in calculation of the CGPA.
