ADP PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORTS SCIENCE
The Associate Degree Program (ADP) in Physical Education is a two-year undergraduate program designed to provide students with foundational knowledge and skills in physical education, fitness, and sports management. This program focuses on developing an understanding of physical fitness, sports science, and health education. The ADP in Physical Education prepares students for entry-level roles in sports, fitness, and education or further studies in physical education and related fields Communication studies addresses the ways in which words, images, gestures, and symbols reflect and affect human behavior.

Overview
Physical Education and Sports Science is a dynamic, interdisciplinary field dedicated to understanding the science of human movement, health, and athletic performance. This focuses on the art and science of teaching (pedagogy), curriculum development, and the promotion of lifelong physical activity and wellness, primarily in educational settings. This applies scientific principles from physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition to analyze, evaluate, and enhance human performance, health, and rehabilitation.
Scope Of This Degree
The scope of Physical Education and Sports Science is vast, spanning from grassroots community health initiatives to elite international competition and clinical rehabilitation.
Education: PE Teacher, Athletic Director, University Lecturer.
Coaching & Performance: Strength and Conditioning Coach, Sport-Specific Coach, Sports Scientist, Performance Data Analyst.
Health & Fitness: Personal Trainer, Fitness Center Manager, Corporate Wellness Coordinator.
Clinical & Rehabilitation: Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist (or a pathway to Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy).
Research: Academic or private-sector researcher in biomechanics, physiology, or sport technology.
