Objectives of the Program

Keeping abreast with technological advances in the information technology industry, the BS (Computer Science) program has been designed to fulfill the need for a rigorous and enriching academic experience. The program emphasizes the need for an overall development that includes exposure to an integrated series of courses in technology, methodology, physical sciences, liberal arts and management. Project-based software developments along with research assignments have also been emphasized. These courses seek to impart a broad and deep knowledge of theory, design and application of digital computers and information processing techniques. The curriculum has been designed to prepare students to serve the productive needs of Pakistan’s software industry.
